The Samsung Galaxy A18<\/a> is a simple phone that does the basics. It’s limited to 4G networks, has a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, a 6.7-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, and runs Android 17 with Samsung’s One UI 9 flavouring.<\/p>\n

In the hand, it feels okay. It’s an almost 200-gram phone with a plastic frame and back panel, and comes in Black, Gray, and this Light Blue. Light is a very accurate term indeed – it’s a very subtle color.<\/p>\n

There’s a fingerprint scanner in the right-hand-placed power button, and it’s accurate and works fine! The main camera is a 50MP unit with a reasonable 1\/2.76-inch sensor and a bright f\/18 lens that’s also stabilized. We expect this combination to yield nice results, and it also doubles as a 2x zoom.<\/p>\n

It may seem like we’re not overly excited by the Galaxy A18, but that’s fine. It’s a basic phone for Galaxy fans who aren’t too fussed about specs or having a zoom lens.<\/p>\n

It’s a solid choice to get on that phone contract renewal that’s coming up next month! And being a Samsung, it will be available in most stores, which is nice!<\/p>\n

The Galaxy A18 comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. In the box, there’s a USB-C cable, the phone, and a SIM eject tool.<\/p>\n
