The US Federal Government will now dump AI for Mr Trump\u2019s new term of \u201csuper intelligence\u201d.<\/p>\n
On the sidelines of the General Assembly, Mr Trump met with Britain\u2019s new Prime Minister Andy Burnham for the first time and described a deal London has made to return the Chagos Islands to Mauritius as \u201cterrible\u201d.<\/p>\n

The UK\u2019s Defence Secretary Wes Streeting has since confirmed they will rework the deal which involves leasing a strategic US-UK military base on one of the Chagos Islands off Mauritius. <\/p>\n
Mr Streeting said while Mr Trump\u2019s opposition was \u201cnot news to us\u201d, he conceded that the deal \u201ccan\u2019t go ahead without American support\u201d.<\/p>\n
Elsewhere, Anthony Albanese also met Mr Trump with a customary selfie on the sidelines of the UN. Mr Albanese is due to give his speech on Friday, Australia time. On Tuesday, he met new UK leader Andy Burnham and South Korea\u2019s President Lee Jae Myung.<\/p>\n
He also headlined events on protecting children in the age of AI and climate change. <\/p>\n
During his speech, Mr Trump said he had a \u201cdecision\u201d to make about Iran amid reports that it has offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz if the US ends its blockade. <\/p>\n
The US President said there could be negotiations or it could \u201cdrive them into hell\u201d.<\/p>\n
He also signed a deal with Denmark and Greenland over the future of the Arctic island.<\/p>\n
The US President has insisted that the deal gives the US total control over the security of Greenland. Critics have said the new deal is not much more than a previous 1951 Greenland-US agreement.<\/p>\n
Mr Trump ignored questions on the sovereignty of Greenland, given he had earlier demanded the US should own Greenland \u2013 yet the deal reasserts Denmark\u2019s ownership. <\/p>\n
