(WCIV) \u2014 A Lowcountry nonprofit is working to bring the community together to talk about mental health and suicide prevention with a meet and greet event Thursday night. <\/p>\n<p>Tessa Spencer, the founder of &#8220;Save our Sons and Daughters SC&#8221; created the the nonprofit after losing her son to a battle with mental health. <\/p>\n<p>Now she is working to bring awareness to mental health and suicide prevention so no parent or child has to struggle alone.<\/p>\n<p>The meet and greet will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Victor&#8217;s on John Street in Charleston. There, individuals will be able to learn more about the organizations mission and learn about ways to get involved. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CHARLESTON, S.C.
