The handset is confirmed to launch in China soon and will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/android_oems_pledge_allegiance_to_the_snapdragon_8_elite_gen_6_series-news-74723.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">powered<\/a> by Qualcomm\u2019s newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.<\/p>\n<p>The OnePlus 16 will <a href=\"https:\/\/weibo.com\/3871046669\/RjycYm0Iq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">feature<\/a> a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200MP primary sensor with a 1\/1.4 inch size and an f\/1.6 aperture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"780\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1790275460_972_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"OnePlus 16 complete camera hardware detailed\"\/><\/p>\n<p>It will also offer a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultrawide camera with a 116 degree field of view.<\/p>\n<p>For selfies, the handset will feature a 50MP front facing camera.
