Sharks 10, Ducks 0: Ivar Stenberg<\/a>\u00a0scored a hat trick and had an assist for the San Jose Sharks, who cruised to victory against the Anaheim Ducks at SAP Center in San Jose.<\/p>\n

Stenberg, who was the No. 2 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, also had an assist in his preseason debut, a 2-1 shootout loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Michael Misa<\/a> had a goal and three assists, Igor Chernyshov<\/a> had two goals and an assist, Mason Marchment<\/a> scored twice, and Brett Leason<\/a> and Filip Bystedt<\/a> each had a goal and an assist for the Sharks (1-1-1). Alex Nedeljkovic<\/a>\u00a0made 21 saves.<\/p>\n

Ville Husso<\/a> allowed six goals on 19 shots for the Ducks (1-2-0) before being replaced midway through the second period by Laurent Brossoit<\/a>, who made four saves on eight shots.<\/p>\n

Marchment made it 1-0 on a breakaway at 3:55 of the first period.<\/p>\n

Stenberg made it 2-0 at 5:29. He positioned himself near the right post and tipped in Misa’s shot from below the left circle.<\/p>\n

Chernyshov pushed it to 3-0 at 9:29, and Misa made it 4-0 at 11:33 after receiving a pass from Stenberg.<\/p>\n

Chernyshov scored his second of the period on a wrist shot from the left face-off dot to make it 5-0 at 15:45.<\/p>\n

Stenberg scored his second of the game at 3:04 of the second period to make it 6-0.<\/p>\n

Marchment put a wrist shot past Brossoit to extend the lead to 7-0 at 12:57, and Leason scored on the power play at 7:54 of the third period to make it 8-0.<\/p>\n

Stenberg completed the hat trick with a power-play goal at 16:57. He took a cross-ice feed from Leason and scored with a wrist shot from the left dot to make it 9-0.<\/p>\n
