Two-time World Superbikes champion Toprak Razgatlioglu is set to make his MotoGP debut in the 2026 season after signing a factory deal to race for Pramac Racing.<\/p>\n

Razgatlioglu<\/a> signed his maiden MotoGP deal with the Italian constructor in June, throwing the future of Jack Miller\u2019s MotoGP career into jeopardy<\/a>. The Australian rider is among the few riders who don\u2019t have a contract to ride in next season\u2019s championship set in stone.<\/p>\n

Liberty Media believe Razgatlioglu is the answer<\/a> to the chokehold that Italian and Spanish riders have on the world championship in the premier class. <\/p>\n

Of the 23 seasons since the rebrand of the premier class to MotoGP, only four of those seasons have seen a champion hail from a different country.<\/p>\n

\u2018No one can beat\u2019 Toprak Razgatlioglu in World Superbikes since he signed his Yamaha deal<\/p>\n

Speaking to Motorsport Turkiye, the former Supersport world champion and current manager of Razgatlioglu, Kenan Sofuoglu, highlighted the difference he has seen from the Turkish rider since he completed his move to MotoGP for the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

\u201cToprak was unhappy at the start of the season because of the change to BMW. We had problems. But since the day he signed, no one can beat him. He is very fast, very motivated. The MotoGP contract motivated him a lot. <\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that the MotoGP deal will bring us the 2025 World Superbikes Championship, because he is so motivated. In training, in the World Superbike Championship and in his life overall, he is very happy because he\u2019s going to MotoGP with a good contract. MotoGP is coming in a very good way. <\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you enter MotoGP, but without a good team. We signed directly with a factory bike. Some say Pramac<\/a> is not a factory team, but Pramac uses factory bikes. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhatever the factory team uses, Toprak will use the same with only minor differences, and I really believe in Pramac.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ahead of his move to the premier class of Grand Prix motorcycle racing, Razgatlioglu has been warned that his braking style \u2018won\u2019t work\u2019<\/a> on the prototype bikes by his replacement at BMW in WSBK next year and former MotoGP rider, Danilo Petrucci.<\/p>\n

Kenan Sofuoglu believes Toprak Razgatlioglu can bring a title to Pramac after Jorge Martin\u2019s 2024 feat<\/p>\n

Jorge Martin<\/a> became the first satellite rider to win a MotoGP championship in the modern era of the premier class after his 2024 title-winning season with Pramac Racing. <\/p>\n

The team used to be supplied by Ducati, but when Yamaha<\/a> came calling with a substantially beneficial deal, the team swapped to the Japanese constructor for the current 2025 season.<\/p>\n

Sofuoglu believes Razgatlioglu can replicate Martin\u2019s success at the team, saying, \u201cIn 2024, Martin became world champion with Ducati, beating the factory team. So we gave Toprak to last year\u2019s world champion team. <\/p>\n

\u201cWith Toprak, Pramac will return to its old glory. That\u2019s what I believe and the team also believes that. We will make a strong start because his morale is very high. The most important thing is that Toprak has that now. Of course there will be challenges, tires, bike, championship, many difficulties. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut Toprak will still make a good start. Remember this deal: 2026 is a training year, our real target is 2027. New bike, new tires, new rules, everything will reset. After a year of experience, in 2027 Toprak will enter MotoGP fully prepared.
