Two state champions with title aspirations \u2013 including a major local hope \u2013 will collide in a crunch opening matchup at the Basketball Australia U14 Club Championships on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Every match from the 2026 championships will be live streamed exclusively here with matches from Courts Courts 5, 7 and 8 broadcast in this story on Sunday.<\/p>\n
And one of the games to watch will come first up when the Perry Lakes Hawks lock horns with the West Adelaide Bearcats from 9am AWST.<\/p>\n
The Court 7 battle pits the Western Australian Basketball League U14 girls champions against the South Australian state titleholders.<\/p>\n
Perry Lakes, which will be led by the likes of Anai Seaby and Sienna Mathiasz, will arguably be the host state\u2019s best chance to keep the national title in WA hands with 2025 champions Cockburn Cougars not returning.<\/p>\n
They come up against a Bearcats side boasting Mahlie West, Emilia Kulikowski and Paige Schroeder who have thoroughly impressed this season, taking out both the Junior State Championship and Junior District League titles.<\/p>\n
Fellow SA girls side Eastern Mavericks also features in Court 7 action with a tough test against NSW Junior Premier League winners Penrith Panthers at 12.30pm.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Sydney club Sutherland Sharks take on Queensland\u2019s South West Metro Pirates in an intriguing boys clash to close the day at 3.30pm.<\/p>\n
Every match of the Basketball Australia Under-14 Club Championships will be exclusively live streamed on KommunityTV from September 26 to October 2.<\/p>\n
