Annabelle Selldorf<\/a> has been featured in the TIME100<\/a> Art 2026 list. The recognition comes a year after Selldorf also made the TIME 100 Influential People list<\/a> in 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the art world has an unofficial architect, it\u2019s Annabelle Selldorf,\u201d the magazine said<\/a>. \u201cThe German-born founder of Selldorf Architects received rave reviews for her understated, elegant renovation of the Frick Collection<\/a> in New York City, which cost $220 million and opened in April 2025 after a five-year closure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, she\u2019s taking on a fresh, high-profile commission. Her firm was chosen for the more than $315 million redesign of the Grande Colonnade of the Louvre<\/a> in Paris \u2014 the museum\u2019s largest renovation in 40 years,\u201d TIME added. \u201cMeanwhile, Selldorf remains the architect art dealers like David Zwirner<\/a> have on speed dial to renovate their offices and design their galleries around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
