\u201cPeople love the morning lifestyle here in Sydney. For the people here today, it\u2019s about finding like-minded people who want to grab a coffee, walk their dogs, or go for a swim instead of heading to a loud bar.<\/p>\n
\u201cLet\u2019s be real, nowhere else in the world could really pull this off,\u201d she laughed.<\/p>\n
When I asked 32-year-old Hannah why she\u2019d willingly signed up for this 7am dating experiment, she said she was simply \u201copen to all types of dates\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like mornings because if I go for drinks, one hour easily turns into three hours, and that\u2019s a lot of time to invest in someone you don\u2019t even know,\u201d she pointed out.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 29-year-old Ross confessed he was mostly there for the free Kellogg\u2019s breakfast and coffee.<\/p>\n

But jokes aside, the bachelor insisted he was \u201ca big morning date kind of guy\u201d \u2013 with a major caveat.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor a brekkie date, after 10am is best, you know, like a brunch. Before that time is not really right,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, it was Ross and I against the data, with a third of singles surveyed claiming that early-bird dates felt significantly \u201cless pressured\u201d than a traditional evening rendezvous.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople do still want chemistry and excitement, but they also want kindness, authenticity, and someone they can actually feel comfortable around,\u201d dating expert Ms Colantoni explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cBreakfast dates are casual, there\u2019s less pressure, and you can actually talk.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd hey, if the chemistry is there, you\u2019ve got the rest of the day ahead of you,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Personally, I\u2019ll be respectfully bowing out of the dawn dating scene on account of being a self-proclaimed night owl. <\/p>\n
That being said, there\u2019s an undeniable growing appetite for these organic, real-life meet-ups.
