{"id":907048,"date":"2026-09-27T05:50:13","date_gmt":"2026-09-27T05:50:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/907048\/"},"modified":"2026-09-27T05:50:13","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T05:50:13","slug":"tony-quinn-comments-on-queensland-raceway-track-extension-2027","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/907048\/","title":{"rendered":"Tony Quinn comments on Queensland Raceway track extension 2027"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TONY Quinn says an extended layout for Queensland Raceway will be ready to go from day one in 2027, but it won\u2019t necessarily cater for top-level motorsport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018The Paperclip\u2019 is being added to this summer, with Quinn having publicly hinted at works taking place in the vicinity of Turn 2.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to V8 Sleuth, the popular circuit owner provided some additional detail around the timeline and scope of the project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cReally, it\u2019s not for V8s or nationals, it\u2019s for the local state guys,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt takes the track from six corners to 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe work starts in December.
