\u201cFirstly, the Air Force Museum\u2019s BTS team takes its name from our \u2018Behind-the-scenes\u2019 (BTS) tours,\u201d the museum said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese go ahead three times each day for the incredibly affordable price of $5. They\u2019re \u2018dynamite\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n

By contrast, the museum said the South Korean boy band\u2019s name \u201ccomes from the Korean translation of \u2018Bulletproof Boy Scouts\u2019 or Bangtan Boys, depending on who you believe\u201d.<\/p>\n

There were also disparities between each group\u2019s numbers and make-up, the museum said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Seoul band consists of seven members: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. <\/p>\n

\u201cBy contrast, our BTS line-up changes each day but generally only four members \u2013 in this case Chris, Graeme, Geoff and John \u2013 take the stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome days they are not a boy band at all, thanks to our female BTS members.\u201d<\/p>\n

The consistency in their team\u2019s work was another important distinction from the band, the museum said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to military service requirements<\/a>, BTS took a break between 2022 and 2025 but are back in business with a tour of Latin America. <\/p>\n

\u201cBy comparison, our BTS team never takes a break and is ready to entertain daily at 11am, 1.30pm and 3pm.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerformances last about an hour, take in all the highlights plus the reserve collection and conservation centre, and are on 364 days a year.\u201d <\/p>\n

As of Sunday, more than 20,000 people had reacted to the post on Facebook, with hundreds of comments and over 1000 shares.<\/p>\n

\u201c…. I\u2019m confused. Why\u2019d you post the same guys twice??\u201d one person commented.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see where the confusion comes from,\u201d another joked, while a third asked: \u201cWhen\u2019s the dance-off?\u201d<\/p>\n

Screenshots of the post were later shared on a BTS discussion page on Reddit, prompting praise for the museum\u2019s BTS team and their photo re-enactment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is really fun and cute and honestly a great way to advertise this museum,\u201d one said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to New Zealand soon and glad I have read this important message before trying to line up for this BTS pop-up,\u201d wrote another.<\/p>\n

A third praised the post\u2019s author for their humour and research, saying they \u201cpaid respect to BTS and hyped them up, while also hyping themselves up in the best way\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope they get lots of visitors and people enjoying their tours,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
