Liam Lawson feels there is one key area of focus for Racing Bulls ahead of the upcoming grands prix in Malaysia and Singapore.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
The team struggled over the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, yet still managed to collect six points from Arvid Lindblad’s seventh-place finish at the Baku City Circuit.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
That was fortunate as Lindblad crashed into Lawson at the first of two safety car restarts, as a consequence of Franco Colapinto taking out Alpine team-mate Pierre Gasly and McLaren’s Isack Hadjar into Turn 1 ahead of him.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Although Lindblad apologised, Lawson was still left puzzled by his team-mate’s approach into the first corner, suggesting he has “been over aggressive at points this year”.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Fundamentally, however, Lawson knows he and the team cannot be found as badly wanting again in the next two races in Malaysia and Singapore, as they were in Azerbaijan\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“It was a tough weekend overall for the team,” said Lawson, speaking to the media, including RacingNews365. “We’ve struggled.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“If everything were normal, we wouldn’t have scored. It was a very standard race. We didn’t have the speed of Alpine, so we just got very lucky.”\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
As to where the team predominantly struggled, he added: “With pace all weekend,.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“So that\u2019s something we\u2019ll work on over the rest of the triple-header.”\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tRacing Bulls capitalised on ‘opportunities’<\/p>\n
Team principal Alan Permane concurred with Lawson that after what was “quite a race”, Racing Bulls were “fortunate” to come away with any points\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“We were able to capitalise on the opportunities that presented themselves throughout the race, and to come away with six points for the team is a really positive outcome from a challenging weekend,”: said Permane.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“We had a tougher-than-usual weekend in terms of performance, but the cars certainly performed better [in the race] than they did across the rest of the weekend.”\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
