Chris Hemsworth<\/a> has reportedly closed his production company Wild State, behind hit films Extraction 2 and Crime 101, after just four years.<\/p>\n

The Aussie A-lister, 43, who has estimated net worth of up to US$130 million ($185 million), has shuttered Wild State according to multiple outlets, with the company\u2019s website now offline. <\/p>\n

The decision comes after what\u2019s been a \u201cfraught few months\u201d according to sources from Page Six<\/a>, citing speculation over internal conflict or conflict with Hemsworth\u2019s busy filming schedule. <\/p>\n

The official website for the company no longer works, leaving visitors with an \u201cexpired\u201d blank page. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed employees will be paid through to the end of 2026. However, no official statement or confirmation has been released. <\/p>\n

An insider has told the outlet that Hemsworth\u2019s decision comes from a \u201clife choice\u201d and the Thor actor is proud of what the company has achieved. <\/p>\n

Nine.com.au have contacted Wild State productions for comment. <\/p>\n

The company, co-founded by Hemsworth and producer Ben Grayson in 2022, held a deal with National Geographic for unscripted projects and Disney+ Originals.<\/p>\n

This included three-seasons of hit docuseries Limitless<\/a>, which featured wife Elsa Pataky<\/a>, and brothers Liam and Luke Hemsworth<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Following its launch, Wild State went into a strategic partnership with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon\u2019s production company Artists Equity in late 2023.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been reported the partnership has now too expired and was not renewed. <\/p>\n

Wild State is one of the production companies behind Hemsworth\u2019s latest movie Extraction 3, being filmed in NSW. Hemsworth and Grayson are credited as producers on the film. <\/p>\n
