CAMBRIDGE, Mass. \u2013 Brown University women’s basketball alumna Isabella Mauricio ’25 has signed a professional contract with Herner TC in the Damen Basketball Bundesliga, the top women’s basketball league in Germany, Herner TC has announced.

\n“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to join Herner TC and begin this new chapter in Germany,” Mauricio said. “The team has already made me feel so welcome and I am looking forward to getting to work and competing at a high level!”

\nIn her first full season as a professional during the 2025-26 campaign, Mauricio played for Trep\u00e7a in the Kosovo Superleague, averaging 24.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game over 16 games played. Mauricio also played for the Bay City Blaze in the Women’s Premier Basketball Association during the summer of 2026, posting 14.0 points, 3.1 assists, and 2.5 rebounds over 11 games played.

\nDuring her career at Brown, Mauricio scored 1,069 career points and knocked down 216 career 3-pointers over 102 career games played and 92 career games started. For her career with the Bears, she averaged 10.5 points per game, while scoring over 200 points in each of her four seasons.

\nIn program history, Mauricio ranks 20th at Brown in career points (1,069) and third in career 3-point field goals made (216).

\nA sociology and economics concentrator at Brown, Mauricio twice won the Bears’ Next Award, given to the player who best exemplifies the team’s core values.
