It offers plenty of useful features, and the developer regularly releases updates with improvements and bug fixes. Now, the app is getting yet another update with several quality-of-life enhancements.<\/p>\n<p>The new version (v1.7.50) of Xtream Player was announced in a post on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AndroidAuto\/comments\/1ws603v\/update_xtream_player_v1750\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Reddit<\/a>, bringing several additions for both free and premium users. For starters, the FS XtreamPlayer Mirror can now fill the entire car screen for a more immersive experience, properly scaling your phone\u2019s display on your infotainment system.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"e_xh\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"  title=\"xtream player 1.7.50 update youtube options image\"  alt=\"xtream player 1.7.50 update youtube options image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.androidauthority.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/xtream-player-1.7.50-update-youtube-options-image.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The update also resolves a few annoying bugs with M3U streaming. The app\u2019s TV add-on can now play M3U channels that require their own user agent without any trouble. It also ensures live M3U channels load from a valid start time, so you don\u2019t run into playback issues when streaming live TV in your car.<\/p>\n<p>For premium users, the update introduces Plex Live TV support, so users can stream live channels from Plex in their car. It also adds proper categorization for movies and TV shows. However, according to comments on the Reddit post, Plex Live TV support is currently broken, though the developer noted that a fix will roll out soon. Premium users also gain support for playing YouTube videos at the highest available quality, along with several other YouTube-specific updates.<\/p>\n<p>Users can now choose whether YouTube videos go full-screen automatically or play in-page.
