That means watching an episode will follow specific characters and storylines rather than the traditional soap approach of multiple characters and plots.

RoseBerry’s AI-assisted production workflow RedSnapper can scan decades of episodes to map character arcs, storylines and standout moments, helping editors quickly identify the strongest material.

First episodes will feature two storylines featuring Margot Robbie as Donna edited down into vertical micro-episodes that will add up to around 150 minutes of content.

They will first be available on microdrama platform epis, owned by RoseBerry Media, available as an app. RoseBerry launched epis globally in July 2026 as a dedicated streaming destination for premium vertical television.

Guy Hameiri, Co-Founder and CEO of RoseBerry Media, said: “Neighbours is an iconic piece of television history and exactly the kind of premium entertainment IP we believe can thrive in the vertical format. This is the first time we’ve had the opportunity to apply RedSnapper to a long-running soap with such a rich library of characters, storylines and cultural moments, and Fremantle has been a fantastic partner in helping bring that vision to life.

“For RoseBerry, this is a powerful proof point for the infrastructure we are building to support the future of premium vertical television. By combining proprietary technology, audience intelligence and distribution capabilities, we’re enabling rights holders to reimagine established libraries for mobile-first audiences, generate new insights and unlock new commercial opportunities.

“We believe premium vertical television will become a significant new entertainment category, and partnerships like this demonstrate how iconic IP can find new audiences, new relevance and new value in that future ecosystem.”

Jens Richter, CEO Commercial and International at Fremantle, said: “Neighbours has an extraordinary legacy, with decades of memorable characters, stories and talent. Working with RoseBerry allows us to explore incredible archive in an entirely new way, bringing much-loved IP to new audiences while demonstrating how established television libraries can continue to evolve, find new relevance and importantly create new commercial opportunities. It’s an exciting example of how technology and creative thinking can unlock new value from our diverse catalogue and content library.”

epis however does not come cheap, priced at $14.99 to $29.99 AUD per week or $49.99 AUD per month.
