{"id":911863,"date":"2026-10-01T05:22:13","date_gmt":"2026-10-01T05:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/911863\/"},"modified":"2026-10-01T05:22:13","modified_gmt":"2026-10-01T05:22:13","slug":"triple-eight-advertising-for-supercars-full-time-race-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/911863\/","title":{"rendered":"Triple Eight advertising for Supercars full-time race engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TRIPLE Eight has gone to the market in search of adding to its brains trust.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ford homologation team <a href=\"https:\/\/au.seek.com\/job\/94969667?tracking=SHR-IOS-SharedJob-anz-1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">yesterday posted a job listing on Seek<\/a> for a full-time Supercars race engineer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A candidate with \u201cdemonstrated professional motorsport experience in an engineering capacity\u201d is being sought.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s an interesting development, not only for the fact that it\u2019s a coveted gig as one of the most pivotal roles at the most successful team in Supercars history.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/superstore.v8sleuth.com.au\/products\/the-great-race-60-years-of-the-bathurst-1000-paperback-book?utm_source=website&amp;utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_campaign=buy-button&amp;utm_content=buy-button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/great-race-book_d21c3de0-8a54-426b-b505-0a3cd27f85e0.jpg\"\/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Triple Eight <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/cauchi-commits-to-triple-eight-homecoming\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">only recently underwent a rather sudden restructuring<\/a> following the Repco Sprint Cup finale at Queensland Raceway, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1292-Will-Brown\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Will Brown<\/a>\u2019s title-winning engineer Andrew Edwards promoted to head of performance and David Cauchi drafted in as his direct replacement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cauchi though is only working for Triple Eight on a part-time basis as he simultaneously continues to be chief operating officer of the DMH Group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is contracted to Triple Eight until the end of the year, as it stands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other core members of the Brisbane juggernaut\u2019s brains trust include Pete Ringwood (technical director), Martin Short (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1545-Broc-Feeney\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Broc Feeney<\/a>\u2019s race engineer) and Isaac Baldry (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-2862-Jackson-Walls\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jackson Walls<\/a>\u2019 race engineer).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-250-Dick-Johnson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dick Johnson<\/a> Racing has also recently put up advertisements for a <a href=\"https:\/\/au.seek.com\/job\/94957954?type=standard&amp;ref=search-standalone&amp;origin=cardTitle#sol=478d02b45d6c50161b14bdfd1d2aa845381d7240\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">data\/performance engineer<\/a> and a <a href=\"https:\/\/au.seek.com\/job\/94957897?type=standard&amp;ref=search-standalone&amp;origin=cardTitle#sol=466922667dac359382a9cc019de76343adf1a473\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">number two mechanic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Clear As Mud! | The Undercut<\/p>\n<p>THE Undercut returns, breaking down the latest news in the world of Supercars racing!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"TRIPLE Eight has gone to the market in search of adding to its brains trust.
