Kyle Sandilands has accused state powers of using bots to \u201cbring down\u201d his new streaming venture following his departure from radio earlier this year. <\/p>\n
The ex-shock jock took to social media on Wednesday to claim his network Kyle Sandilands Live was the subject of cyber bot attacks, which reportedly spiked after he aired conversations regarding One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson and MP Barnaby Joyce. <\/p>\n
\u201cWhat the problem is, is there are bots coming out of Canberra and Russia and China \u2026 all trying to shut down our platform,\u201d Sandilands said in a video to his followers. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt all started since we started talking to Pauline and Barnaby the other week and it went on and on and on and on.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a full attack from multiple countries and our own and I just don\u2019t understand: Where is the end game here? What are you trying to do?\u201d<\/p>\n
Sandilands offered no proof of the attacks, apart from his word.<\/p>\n
He warned that his attackers would not dissuade him from speaking out \u2013 particularly his views on government spending. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou can put as many bots as you want on this thing, we will not shut down, we will not falter, we are here to stay,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will not shut down, we will not be silenced, we will say whatever we want.<\/p>\n
\u201cGood luck bringing us down you f**king piece of sh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n
The caption on the Kyle Sandilands Live video explained the bot activity had seemingly ignited two weeks prior.<\/p>\n
\u201cKS Live is completely unfiltered and alongside the usual fun, chaos and giveaways, we are having the conversations nobody else is brave enough to \u2013 and going off the attacks on our site over the last two weeks, it seems some people don\u2019t like that,\u201d the caption read.<\/p>\n
In videos posted to his social media channels last week, Sandilands called Senator Hanson \u201cAustralia\u2019s most trusted politician\u201d.<\/p>\n
In June on his network, Sandilands told listeners he had been spending time working with Senator Hanson and her team after being dropped from his radio show with KIIS FM.<\/p>\n
\u201c(I\u2019ve) been working on them to get their messaging across, which I think has been well received,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Sandilands claimed Senator Hanson was a \u201csurprise\u201d and was \u201cvery inspirational\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s, like, one of my favourite people now,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
However, One Nation staffer James Ashby told media the controversial radio figure was not officially working with the party but rather Senator Hanson had reached out to him after \u201csh*t hit the fan\u201d. <\/p>\n
Sandilands launched his independent network soon after his axing by former employer ARN.<\/p>\n
ARN agreed to pay him $12m after his termination from a 10-year $100m contract relating to an on-air spat with former co-host Jackie \u201cO\u201d Henderson in February.<\/p>\n
Sandilands\u2019 streaming service is advertised as a paid subscription platform built to \u201clet you watch Kyle directly rather than through the restrictions of traditional radio\u201d.<\/p>\n
