(Supplied: David Lee)<\/p>\n<p>Working dogs in demand<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">Casterton Kelpie Association president Karen Stephens said the demand for working dogs had increased over the past 10 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;We think [the increase] is triggered by the lack of available staff to support farmers in their day-to-day farming activities, which 1756004587 they&#8217;re relying on their team of working dogs,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph_paragraph__iYReA\">&#8220;[The dogs] they sit at the back door waiting, they&#8217;re keen to work and they always want to work, and they&#8217;ll work from the sun-up to sundown, they don&#8217;t take holidays, and they don&#8217;t take sick leave, so they&#8217;re pretty reliable when it comes to that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iview.abc.net.au\/show\/muster-dogs\" data-component=\"FullBleedLink\" class=\"RelatedCard_link__rsgR9 FullBleedLink_root__lTw_U interactive_focusContext__yRhc_ interactive_defaults__AKxUU FullBleedLink_showVisited__g3Xvz\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Catch new Muster Dogs: Collies and Kelpies on ABC iview<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Typography_base__sj2RP RelatedCard_synopsis__cFwMW Typography_sizeMobile14__u7TGe Typography_lineHeightMobile20___U7Vr Typography_regular__WeIG6 Typography_colourInherit__dfnUx\" data-component=\"Typography\">Muster Dogs sets a new twist in the experiment to see who will be crowned Champion Muster Dog.
