\n\tEminem<\/a> will release a limited-edition merch collection with streetwear and pop culture brand NERDS Clothing<\/a> during New York Comic Con<\/a> next week, including the launch of an original video game.<\/p>\n

\n\tPer the partners, the NYCC debut will feature original artwork created by NERDS, including a unique 16-bit interpretation of Eminem, limited-edition merchandise, a series of hand-embellished arcade cabinets created with New York artist Danny Cortes and the launch of an original game titled \u201cMarshall\u2019s Massacre.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe NERDS x Eminem collection will be available in extremely limited quantities at the NERDS booth (#3253) during New York Comic Con, which runs from Oct. 8-11 at the New York Javits Convention Center. The collection will include:<\/p>\n

NERDS x Eminem limited-edition skate deck<\/p>\n

NERDS x Eminem limited-edition long-sleeve tee<\/p>\n

NERDS x Eminem lightweight bomber jacket<\/p>\n

\n\tArtist Cortes will create a small, limited run of hand-embellished arcade cabinets inspired by the original 16-bit Eminem artwork created by NERDS which will be showcased at the booth.<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditionally, the collab will include the launch of \u201cMarshall\u2019s Massacre,\u201d an original game created specifically around the Eminem-NERDS partnership which was developed by Fan Arcade, a company specializing in creating interactive gaming experiences for major artists, entertainment properties and brands. The game will be available to play via marshallsmassacre.com.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Eminem-NERDS collab is a huge move for the hip-hop community into New York Comic Con, which has traditionally been more focused on comics, TV, film and video games than music culture. <\/p>\n

\n\tSince launching in 2011, NERDS has been working to build a bridge between streetwear and geek culture through collaborations with IP including \u201cStreet Fighter,\u201d \u201cSonic the Hedgehog,\u201d \u201cAstro Boy,\u201d WWE and the NBA. More unannounced projects are currently in the works.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf you were to tell me that an overnight idea to create NERDS would turn into a collaboration with the biggest hip-hop artist in the world years later, I wouldn\u2019t believe you,\u201d NERDS Clothing CEO Eric Medina said. \u201cI\u2019m excited to have this opportunity and to showcase my creativity and passion with the Shady Records team.
