The Jets eventually scored to take the lead on Mario Ferraro\u2019s goal with 8 seconds left in the period \u2014 though very few knew exactly how much time was remaining.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hate excuses, but yes, [it made it] a little bit difficult,\u201d said coach Marco Sturm, who had to manage a power play during the outage. \u201cIt\u2019s just one of those moments. Bruins center Elias Lindholm said it was a strange feeling to be winging it blind, so to speak.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was definitely new for me. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ve been a part of something like that on NHL level, but yeah, it was just different for sure,\u201d said Lindholm. \u201cObviously we had a power play there, no clue how much time was left and so on. And then the ref is kind of showing fingers, how many seconds is left and so on. So, it\u2019s definitely weird and different, but, no excuses for letting in that goal, just got to be better.\u201d<\/p>\n
If nothing else, it made Lindholm realize just how often he checks the clock during the course of a game.<\/p>\n

Obviously, you look, check how many minutes are left and seconds and so on,\u201d said Lindholm, who tied the game late in the third of the Bruins\u2019 <\/a>4-3 overtime win<\/a>. \u201cSo, obviously maybe we would\u2019ve done something different [defending Ferraro] knowing there was a couple seconds left, but we won the game, so we\u2019ll take 2 points.\u201d<\/p>\n Hitting a dubious milestone<\/p>\n When Nikita Zadorov, he of the new man bun look, was whistled Saturday night<\/a> for a minor slash on Minnesota\u2019s Matt Boldy, it gave the big Bruins defenseman 1,000 career penalty minutes. He became the 394th NHLer to hit that number. <\/p>\n Zadorov, who led the league in penalty minutes in each of his first two seasons in Boston, has just that one infraction through three games.<\/p>\n The 14-year veteran is nowhere near joining the all-time penalty minute leaders.<\/p>\n The top five, you ask?
