\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s \u201cPatient Zero\u201d launches at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200<\/a> and Billboard Global Excl. U.S.<\/a> charts.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe single is Swift\u2019s eighth Global 200 leader \u2014 tying her with BTS for the most since the chart began in September 2020. She adds her fifth Global Excl. U.S. No. 1, breaking<\/a> out of a tie with Bad Bunny and Ariana Grande for the most among soloists; BTS leads all acts with eight.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPatient Zero\u201d is one of four new songs on the deluxe version, released Sept. 25, of Swift\u2019s 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl, dubbed The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore. The set (all versions combined) bounds back to No. 1<\/a> for a 13th week atop the United States-based Billboard 200<\/a> chart while its three other new tracks arrive in the top 10 of both global rankings: \u201cCleveland!,\u201d \u201cBabylon\u201d and \u201cPink Clouding.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPatient Zero\u201d opens as the biggest song in the world with 70.7 million streams and 80,000 sold globally Sept. 25-Oct. 1, according to Luminate. The song\u2019s Swift-directed video, starring Swift, Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell, premiered Sept. 27<\/a> during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCleveland!\u201d rocks onto the Global 200 at No. 2, led by 37.3 million U.S. streams worldwide, followed by \u201cBabylon\u201d at No. 3 (36.3 million) and \u201cPink Clouding\u201d at No. 5 (36 million). Now up to 47 top 10s, Swift passes Drake (45) for the most in the chart\u2019s archives.<\/p>\n

\n\tPlus, Swift\u2019s \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d rebounds 14-8 on the Global 200 (29.8 million, up 27%). Released on the initial version of The Life of a Showgirl, it spent seven weeks at No. 1 last October through February.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cPatient Zero\u201d totaled 37.3 million streams and sold 15,000 outside the U.S. in the tracking week. \u201cCleveland!\u201d is new at No. 6 on Global Excl. U.S., followed by \u201cPink Clouding\u201d at No. 7 and \u201cBabylon\u201d at No. 8. Swift extends her mark for the most top 10s on the tally to 34; Bad Bunny ranks second with 24. Additionally, \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d rises 13-10 after eight frames at No. 1 last October-February.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter four weeks at No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S., Karol G, Judeline and rusowsky\u2019s \u201cBbY WOW\u201d dips to No. 3 on the former and No. 2 on the latter.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in the Global Excl. U.S. top five, Dua Lipa\u2019s \u201cTraining Season\u201d falls to No. 3 from its No. 2 best and AD\u00c9LA again boasts two songs: \u201cNicole Kidman\u201d rises 5-4 for a new high and \u201cAin\u2019t in LA\u201d recedes to No. 5 from its No. 4 peak.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.<\/p>\n

\n\tChart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts\u2019 calculations.<\/p>\n
