Image: Chris Jones<\/p>\n<p>Speedcafe understands the 18-year-old has been highly sought after in the silly season as he aims to build on a promising rookie campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Beeton contested the 2026 series with HMD Motorsports and after a difficult first half of the season, he announced himself with podiums in both Mid-Ohio races, then another podium at the Milwaukee Mile in only his third oval start.<\/p>\n<p>A number of leading teams are understood to have registered interest in Beeton, with Andretti Global now expected to be his destination.<\/p>\n<p>That would see Beeton step into the same organisation as compatriot Will Power, with the 2018 Indianapolis 500 winner and two-time IndyCar Series champion mooted to become a mentor for the Gold Coaster.<\/p>\n<p>When contacted by Speedcafe, Beeton\u2019s camp, which includes former long-time Holden Motorsport and Oscar Piastri media manager Gerald McDornan, would not comment on speculation, nor confirm his departure from HMD Motorsports.<\/p>\n<p>With an official two-day test for the Indy NXT series set for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on 17 October, confirmation of the deal could come this week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jack Beeton celebrates his Indy NXT podium at Mid-Ohio.
