Beloved comedian Judith Lucy has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. <\/p>\n
Lucy shared her news on Instagram in a post displaying her typically dry humour. <\/p>\n
\u201cNot so fun update from me,\u201d Lucy said in the video.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got an email from BreastScreen Australia, telling me that my mammogram result was a bit weird. May I take this opportunity to say, ladies, for the love of God, keep up with your mammograms. Long story short, I\u2019ve got breast cancer.\u201d <\/p>\n
Lucy said three weeks ago she was going to \u201cpick up yet two more syringes of yet another stranger\u2019s turds\u201d for her fecal transplants when she received the email. <\/p>\n
\u201cI went on last Friday for a lumpectomy, and a doctor \u2013 I\u2019m not making this up – called Doctor Fun found more cancer,\u201d Lucy said. <\/p>\n
Lucy said the cancer is \u201crelatively non-aggressive\u201d, revealing she will soon undergo a double mastectomy. <\/p>\n
\u201cDoctor Fun is amazing. I am in her debt, but we have gone from a lumpectomy to a mastectomy, which I am having Friday week,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI said, while you\u2019re there, let\u2019s get rid of the other one because, you know something, I have had 40 years of, if I do say so myself, large and spectacular breasts. You had your chance, fellas.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I\u2019m quite fine with going bra-free for my last chapter, and my last chapter is going to be very long and healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then referred to the \u201celephant in the room\u201d \u2014 her new wellness book, Well Well Well \u2026 My Wellness Odyssey.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like releasing a book about wellness as you\u2019re being diagnosed with breast cancer. Now fortunately, the book does not end with me going, \u2018And I\u2019ve never been healthier!\u2019 In fact, kind of the point of the book is that there are no quick fixes, and we should just all be living differently,\u201d Lucy said. <\/p>\n
Some of the biggest names in comedy sent messages of support after Lucy\u2019s post. <\/p>\n

Celia Pacqoula also sent her love. \u201cYou are the most spectacular woman with our without those 10\/10 knockers. <\/p>\n

Jo Stanley wrote that she was thinking of Lucy and her \u201cspectacular breasts\u201d. <\/p>\n
