Yankee Stadium on Wednesday featured a superstar meeting between MLB superfan Marlins Man, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner during the Tampa Bay Rays-New York Yankees playoff game. <\/p>\n
Marlins Man, aka Laurence Leavy, posted a selfie from his seats behind home plate with the recently-married celebrity couple even though he “had no idea” who they were.<\/p>\n
Marlins Man also said<\/a> Dua Lipa was “super nice” and maybe the “best ever celebrity” he’s met.<\/p>\n At one point, Marlins Man responded to someone on X by pointing out this was Dua Lipa’s first-ever MLB game and first time eating a hot dog. <\/p>\n Turner and Dua Lipa got some help from Yankees fans about the customs of the game, including standing up and cheering when a hitter on the opposing team gets two strikes against them.<\/p>\n This has been a busy week for Dua Lipa, who made it to the Bronx on Wednesday night after visiting<\/a> Paris two days earlier for the Chanel fashion show. <\/p>\n Turner spent part of his summer in the tri-state area working on the remake of Possession that filmed<\/a> in New Jersey ahead of its planned release in August 2027. <\/p>\n Unfortunately for the Yankees, the presence of Turner and Dua Lipa was not enough to change their fortunes. Their season ended with a 4-3 loss to the Rays in Game 3 of the ALDS. <\/p>\n
