Celine Dion<\/a> had a nasty fall onstage<\/a> during the latest show of her comeback Paris residency<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Canadian star, 58, was performing her 1998 French-language hit Dans un autre monde when her pants got caught on one of her heels, causing her to fall on the stage.<\/p>\n

Dion fell after her pants got caught under her foot.\u00a0Today<\/p>\n

Dion caught herself with one arm and thankfully, did not appear to suffer any major injuries as she immediately got up and continued with the song.<\/p>\n

She gave worried fans in the crowd a thumbs-up to signal she was OK.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Dion announced she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome<\/a>, a rare neurological condition that causes spasms and muscle rigidity.<\/p>\n

It affected her vocal cord control and kept her from the stage<\/a> until this comeback residency in Paris began last month.<\/p>\n

Dion made her triumphant return to singing at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics<\/a> in 2024, but the residency marks her first full concert since her Courage World Tour was paused in March 2020 due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

She released her documentary, I Am: Celine Dion, in 2024, offering a brutally honest look at her health struggles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not hard to do a show, you know? It\u2019s hard to cancel a show,\u201d she said in the film. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been a struggle. I miss it so much, the people. I miss them. If I can\u2019t run, I\u2019ll walk. If I can\u2019t walk, I\u2019ll crawl \u2026 I won\u2019t stop.\u201d<\/p>\n

At her first residency show, Dion broke down in tears during the opening number.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe path was rocky. The journey was longer than planned, but I hung in there,\u201d she told the crowd, saying her fans\u2019 support helped her get back to what she loved most.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so very much for your support, your patience, and if I may say so, I am everything I am because you loved me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Dion will perform 26 total shows in Paris through to May 2027.<\/p>\n
