It also plans to build its operations and technology teams.

CureMeAbroad is also looking to expand its treatment offerings into non-elective specialties, including orthopaedics and oncology, and is exploring physical experience centres in key international markets.

The latest funding follows a $600,000 pre-seed round announced in April 2026, which included backing from Roman Saini, Himanshu Ratnoo, Kunal Gupta, Devaiah Bopanna, Vikrant Potnis and AIRA Buildon.

What does CureMeAbroad do?

Founded in June 2025 by Aditya Oza and Mikhail Bohra, Pune-headquartered CureMeAbroad helps patients seeking treatment overseas find and compare hospitals and arrange their care.

Its platform allows patients to check healthcare providers against Joint Commission International, or JCI, accreditation or equivalent national standards, obtain treatment estimates and book care. It also provides support during the treatment journey.

CureMeAbroad’s platform combines healthcare discovery, treatment planning, pricing transparency and patient assistance.

CureMeAbroad currently attracts more than 22,500 visitors a month and operates a hospital network spanning six countries. Its investment areas include healthcare delivery, diagnostics and treatment, digital health and AI, medical devices, biotechnology and healthcare fintech.

Healthtech startup CureMeAbroad has raised $1.1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by healthcare-focused venture capital fund…

[15
64,63,99,198,2494,500,32236,10347,105452
post-921850","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entrepreneurship","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-business","tag-entrepreneurship","tag-funding","tag-healthcare","tag-healthtech","tag-investor","tag-pune
["GET
