(Image source: Redmi)<\/p>\n<p>Xiaomi isn&#8217;t done with the Redmi Note 15 series as it has released a fourth model in China called the Redmi Note 15R. However, the same phone launched earlier this month as the Redmi 15 in India.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The Redmi Note 15 series may soon rival its predecessor in the number of models available. The series made its debut this month in China with the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Redmi-Note-15-Pro-Plus-Xiaomi-officially-launches-first-Qualcomm-Snapdragon-7s-Gen-4-smartphone-with-7-000-mAh-battery.1093125.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-15-Pro-released-with-display-performance-and-battery-upgrades.1093130.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Xiaomi-releases-Redmi-Note-15-with-huge-battery-and-Qualcomm-Snapdragon-chipset.1093136.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Redmi Note 15 5G<\/a>. Now, Redmi has quietly announced a fourth model called the Redmi Note 15R in its home country.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Technically, the Redmi Note 15R isn&#8217;t a new device but a rebadge of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Xiaomi-Redmi-15-5G-debuts-in-Europe-with-budget-price-tag-but-a-whopping-battery-and-ultra-fast-display.1074814.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Redmi 15 5G<\/a> sold in India. There&#8217;s also a Redmi 15 4G that is sold in Europe (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.de\/-\/en\/15-Smartphone-Midnight-Procesador-Snapdragon-Black\/dp\/B0FL116BVK\/?tag=notebookcheck-news-de-21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"sponsored nofollow noopener\">available on Amazon.de for \u20ac159<\/a>). The Redmi Note 15R has a 6.9-inch\u00a0display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports DC dimming, Wet Touch Technology 2.0, and has a max brightness of 850 nits.<\/p>\n<p>\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/fileadmin\/Notebooks\/News\/_nc5\/Redmi-Note-15R.jpg\" title=\"\" class=\"lightbox\" data-fancybox=\"14209157\" data-title-id=\"lightbox_title_14209157_1\" data-caption=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/csm_Redmi-Note-15R_30aba95724.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"900\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, the Redmi Note 15R also has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It will be available in three configurations \u2014 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. There&#8217;s also a Micro SD card slot for adding more storage.&#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Despite the fact that the phone appears to have a triple rear camera setup, there are actually only two rear cameras \u2014 a 50MP primary sensor paired with an auxiliary lens. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera. (Image source: Redmi)<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The Redmi Note 15R has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, NFC, IR blaster, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio certification, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 5. It also has dual-SIM support and is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance. Like the other models of the Redmi Note 15 family, the Redmi Note 15R has a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging and 18W reverse wired charging. &#13;<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Pricing for the Redmi Note 15R starts at CNY 1,499 (~$209\/\u20ac178) for the base model, goes up to CNY 1,899 (~$265\/\u20ac226) for the 12GB RAM version with 256GB of storage, and stops at CNY 2,199 (~$307\/\u20ac262) for the top model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
