\n Floyd Schofield III defeats Lucas Bahdi by decision to become champion\n <\/p>\n
Floyd Schofield III (20-0, 13 KOs) defeats Lucas Bahdi (20-1, 15 KOs) by unanimous decision to win the vacant WBA lightweight title. After 12 rounds, the judges scored the fight 116-110, 115-111, and 119-108.<\/p>\n
Schofield dropped Bahdi with a left hook in the third round. Bahdi returned the favor in the 11th, dropping Schofield with a right hand.<\/p>\n
In the ninth round, Bahdi landed a right hand that appeared to make Schofield\u2019s knee touch the canvas, but the referee did not rule it a knockdown.<\/p>\n

Mendoza dropped Sandoval three times on his way to victory before the referee stepped in and waved off the fight.<\/p>\n
