{"id":924003,"date":"2026-10-11T07:56:12","date_gmt":"2026-10-11T07:56:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/924003\/"},"modified":"2026-10-11T07:56:12","modified_gmt":"2026-10-11T07:56:12","slug":"brisbane-man-charged-with-murder-after-alleged-stabbing-at-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/924003\/","title":{"rendered":"Brisbane: Man charged with murder after alleged stabbing at home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man has died after allegedly being stabbed at a house in Brisbane\u2019s south.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nine.com.au\/topic\/police-6iyz\" class=\"sc-iRgEWu hHENWX\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Police<\/a> were called to a home on Barcelona Street in Wishart at about 4am on Saturday morning, where they found the 32-year-old with stab wounds.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/43f028cdc7b5f8775a3ff6b434e99f7015784316ec3bee72dbb2281c0e34f645.png\"  width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"_0b53bae146db0b62 _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">The man was found with stab wounds in a Wishart home on Saturday morning.\u00a09News<\/p>\n<p>He was seriously injured, and taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>He died from his injuries on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Another 32-year-old-man, from Cornubia, who knew the victim, was arrested on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>He has been charged with one count of intending to cause grievous bodily harm and contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.<\/p>\n<p>The grievous bodily harm charge was later upgraded to murder.<\/p>\n<p>He is set to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A man has died after allegedly being stabbed at a house in Brisbane\u2019s south.
