Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a> star Brandi Glanville<\/a> has suffered another blow amid her health and financial issues<\/a>, announcing the death of her father, Guy Glanville, aged 77.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad died, I\u2019m gutted I hate this life right now,\u201d the reality TV star, 53, wrote on X<\/a> on October 11, alongside a broken heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Brandi Glanville has announced the death of her father, Guy Glanville. \u00a0Instagram\/@brandiglanville<\/p>\n

Glanville did not confirm Guy\u2019s cause of death, though she had shared he was dealing with health issues earlier this year.<\/p>\n

In a late September episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered<\/a> podcast, she said she had a chance to say a proper goodbye before his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so glad I saw my dad because if I didn\u2019t, I would be hating myself forever,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I told him, \u2018You\u2019ve got to fight.\u2019 I don\u2019t think he wants to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville had a previously rocky relationship with Guy, who was also father to her siblings Tricia and Michael.<\/p>\n

They had a period of estrangement<\/a> after an appearance on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition in 2018.<\/p>\n

She said she had warned him reality TV<\/a> would not show every part of their journey, but his embarrassment over the edit fractured their relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad and I, we left the show in a great space and then, when the show aired, we haven\u2019t talked since,\u201d Glanville told Entertainment Tonight shortly after the show\u2019s premiere.<\/p>\n

Glanville starred on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from Seasons 3 to 5. \u00a0Bravo<\/p>\n

They had patched things up by 2020 and Glanville had given brief updates on her father\u2019s health throughout 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeen completely off the grid. Dad\u2019s in cardiac unit at the hospital and it\u2019s day 13 now,\u201d she wrote in May.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are both medical mysteries. Pray for my dad Guy Glanville.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has been battling serious health issues<\/a> of her own with a series of infections affecting her face.<\/p>\n

In September, Glanville said she had a fungal ball in her face that needed to be removed.\u00a0Instagram\/@Brandiglanville<\/p>\n

Glanville has shared the strain of her health issues, including an 18-hour daily IV regimen<\/a> and medical bills she has struggled to pay<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In September, she said she was battling several diagnoses including bacterial and fungal infections as well as mononucleosis, also known as glandular fever.<\/p>\n

She will soon undergo exploratory surgery\u00a0to get to the bottom of what she believes are \u201cfacial parasites\u201d.<\/p>\n

Glanville says she believes doctors will find a parasite in her face during an upcoming surgery.\u00a0X\/@brandiglanville<\/p>\n

She had a realisation while watching herself during a brief appearance on US reality show Special Forces, she said.<\/p>\n

Glanville said she looked like \u201ca thick neck with a Beetlejuice head and I\u2019m like, \u2018Holy f—.\u2019 Like, something is in my face eating it. I know they\u2019re going to find that out when they go in there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville rose to fame as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2011 to 2015.
