Born on July 8, 2000, in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, Mridul Tiwari’s journey is the classic dream story. A small-town boy with big ambitions, he began uploading videos in 2018. His first skit, Sister vs Girlfriend, instantly resonated with young viewers. By 2019, his video School Life went viral, striking a nostalgic chord with students across the country. From then on, there was no looking back.

By September 2019, Mridul had already hit his first lakh subscribers. Within a year, he crossed the 1 million mark, and by 2025, his channel boasted over 30 million subscribers and billions of views. His content is simple yet relatable: sketches based on everyday Indian life from overprotective mothers to mischievous siblings and awkward college romances. His knack for turning the ordinary into hilarious storytelling has made him a household name, watched across generations. It’s not uncommon to hear Gen Z quoting his jokes at dinner tables, with even grandparents enjoying the humor.

More Than Just A Creator: Awards and Recognitionhttps://www.instagram.com/p/DNe-OCJMaIq/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Mridul’s success isn’t limited to YouTube. He has picked up several awards along the way. From being acknowledged by the London Book of World Records to bagging the Best Content Creator and Global Trendsetter Award at the 2024 Influencer Impact Awards, he has cemented his reputation as one of India’s top digital entertainers. With over 30 lakh Instagram followers, his influence extends far beyond YouTube.

His estimated net worth stands between Rs5 to Rs 7 crore, thanks to three steady streams: YouTube monetization, brand endorsements (especially youth-centric FMCG brands), and now, his Bigg Boss 19 salary. His Lamborghini Huracan, which he once showcased on Instagram as the “world’s first Lamborghini with Jai Shree Ram,” is proof of how far he has come from his Etawah beginnings.

For fans curious about his personal life, here’s the update: Mridul is not married. Despite the countless clickbait YouTube thumbnails suggesting otherwise, all those “Mridul wedding” rumors are baseless.

The Lamborghini Controversyhttps://www.instagram.com/reel/DNVQAtLMehQ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

No rising star’s journey is without a stumble, and Mridul’s Lamborghini has been at the center of one such controversy. Earlier this year, a red Lamborghini registered under his name was involved in an accident in Noida. The luxury car, reportedly being test-driven by a man named Deepak Kumar, lost control and rammed into two pedestrians. Fortunately, the injured survived with fractures, but the incident raised eyebrows when Mridul’s name surfaced as the car’s owner.

Police later clarified that Mridul himself wasn’t driving. The car dealer had taken it out for a test run as Mridul was looking to sell the vehicle. Still, the incident placed him briefly in the spotlight for reasons other than his comedy sketches. While the controversy didn’t dent his popularity much, it did reveal how fame magnifies every detail of a creator’s personal life.

Entering Bigg Boss 19: What to Expecthttps://www.instagram.com/reel/DNXeKgty_oQ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Bigg Boss thrives on drama, but Mridul is not someone who seems naturally inclined toward constant conflict. In fact, during the opening episodes, Salman Khan teased him for staying out of the big shouting matches. Mridul’s cheeky reply, “Bhai, main video banata hoon, ladta nahi hoon” (“I make videos, I don’t fight”), summed up his vibe perfectly. He is here to soak in the experience, not to force fights.

Interestingly, Mridul entered the house through the “Fans Ka Faisla” format, where viewers voted him in. That itself speaks volumes about his dedicated following.

The Bigg Boss 19 Line-Up and Theme

Apart from Mridul, the list of rumored contestants this season is a fascinating mix. Television actors like Ashnoor Kaur, Gaurav Khanna, Zeeshan Quadri, Payal Dhare, and Dheeraj Dhoopar are reportedly stepping in. Alongside them, famous digital creators such as Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar are also expected to join. This blend of TV veterans and online stars is likely to make Season 19 especially dynamic.

The theme this year, “Gharwaalon ki Satta,” is inspired by democracy. The idea is to bring more power into the hands of contestants, making alliances, debates, and people’s choices a bigger part of the game. To add to the excitement, the premiere episode will see Sonali Bendre and Swara Bhaskar joining Salman Khan as guest hosts. Swara, in particular, will be moderating debates among housemates, setting the stage for fiery exchanges right from day one.
