Jai Arrow and Berina Colakovic tied the knot in a stunning wedding in Sicily, Italy.<\/p>\n

The couple, who got married in secret in Sydney earlier this year, were joined by friends and family for the special occasion.<\/p>\n

Arrow\u2019s former South Sydney teammates Cody Walker and Campbell Graham were in attendance along with their one-year-old daughter Ayla.<\/p>\n

The couple hosted an all black, Mafia-themed dinner the night before the wedding.<\/p>\n

They then tied the knot in a \u201cfull circle\u201d moment, having got engaged in Sicily two years ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was one of those rare moments where you wish you could stop time,\u201d Berina, who took Arrow\u2019s name, told Vogue Australia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJai proposed to me two years ago in Sicily and it was a complete and utter surprise!<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pregnant with our little girl at the time and didn\u2019t think he\u2019d pop the question.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we began planning our wedding, the idea of returning to where it all started felt almost too perfect.<\/p>\n

\"Jai<\/p>\n

\u201cTwo years later, we were standing in Sicily but this time surrounded by our closest family and friends, celebrating everything that had happened since. It really felt like our story had come full circle.\u201d<\/p>\n

The wedding took place at a 19th century farmhouse at Borgo del Carato, with Berina describing it as a spot with a \u201cbeautiful, almost timeless romance to it\u2026 somewhere we could completely escape the rest of the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

The venue caters for 65 guests and has an onsite restaurant, saltwater pool, wellness centre and Baroque chapel.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot only is the location absolutely stunning, [it] makes you feel like a royal in a palace,\u201d added Berina.<\/p>\n

The wedding comes months after Arrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, with the former NRL star since beginning a fundraising campaign to help those with the condition.<\/p>\n

He has since made his 100th NRL appearance for Souths and was honoured at the grand final, speaking openly and honestly about his condition along the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur lives have changed enormously over the past two years. We\u2019ve become parents, navigated incredible highs and faced challenges we never could have anticipated,\u201d said Berina.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur wedding wasn\u2019t just about celebrating the beginning of a marriage. It was about celebrating the life we\u2019d already built, the strength of our relationship and the promise to continue choosing one another through whatever comes next.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving our daughter there made it even more special.
