The Canadian outfit will field a Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the race, which takes place on February 11-14 at Mount Panorama.<\/p>\n

Although its driver line-up for the Bathurst 12 Hour has not been confirmed, the IMSA roster includes owner-driver Orey Fidani, factory Corvette driver Matt Bell and Lars Kern.<\/p>\n

Alongside the Bathurst 12 Hour, the team will also compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and is exploring other international opportunities, with an emphasis on Europe.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to be continuing with Orey and 13 Autosport into the 2027 IMSA season,\u201d Bell said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve built a great group of people here, and I love driving with my teammates and working with this team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really happy that we get to keep everything going and hopefully have another shot at some big wins in IMSA and another journey to Le Mans.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re also looking a little further afield next season and adding some special races to the 13 Autosport programme.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opportunity to race at Bathurst is incredibly exciting, and there are some other things we\u2019re looking at in Europe as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a really exciting time for 13 Autosport, and I\u2019m glad to be part of it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new Corvette Z06 GT3.R made its debut at Mount Panorama earlier this year with Johor Motorsports Racing.<\/p>\n

13 Autosport was formed after Fidani acquired AWA from Andrew Wojteczko, who remains involved as a consultant.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m incredibly proud of this team and everything we\u2019ve accomplished together,\u201d said Fidani.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a special group of people at 13 Autosport, and what we achieved this year is a reflection of how hard everyone has worked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWinning the Bob Akin Award again, finishing fifth in the GTD Championship and earning another opportunity to go to Le Mans are things we\u2019re very proud of, but we\u2019re not done.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot more we want to accomplish together, and I\u2019m really excited about what we have planned for 2027.\u201d<\/p>\n

Entries for the Bathurst 12 Hour are open until December 17.<\/p>\n
