Tyreek Hill was found liable on two counts of battery in the civil domestic violence case in Miami with his estranged wife, Lakeeta Vaccaro Hill, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n
Vaccaro Hill, who had alleged multiple instances of physical and verbal abuse, was awarded $500,000 in compensatory damages, though she did not get any punitive damages that she sought. <\/p>\n
The former Dolphins receiver was found not liable on eight other counts by the six-person jury, while another count was removed by a judge earlier in the day. <\/p>\n

Christi Bright, an attorney for Hill, said the free agent was happy with the results of the case. <\/p>\n

Hill was allegedly heard calling Vaccaro Hill a \u201cbroke bitch\u201d in the argument, and he had allegedly attempted to take their daughter from their home.<\/p>\n Hill, while denying physical harm during the case, did say when he took the stand last Thursday that he felt \u201cdeeply ashamed\u201d after saying he was \u201cable to get people to hurt her.\u201d<\/p>\n The five-time All-Pro First Team selection has remained unsigned, and the NFL said after the verdict was reached that his status was \u201cunder review.\u201d<\/p>\n Keeta Vaccaro and Tyreek Hill are seen in Miami on Jan. 28, 2024. This week, the Chiefs signed Justin Watson<\/a> to their practice squad. <\/p>\n Hill spent his first six seasons with the Chiefs \u2014 winning Super Bowl 2020 \u2014 before getting traded to the Dolphins before the 2022 season. <\/p>\n
