It\u2019s not just a few heads hurting after last night\u2019s explosive Block<\/a> dinner to farewell Rosco<\/a>\u2019s dad.<\/p>\n

During a confrontation over the surprise guests in the sharehouse, Courtney<\/a> and Jolene<\/a> disagreed about the interaction Jolene had with Wyatt<\/a> weeks ago, which left her feeling \u201cintimidated\u201d.<\/p>\n

Water under the wine cellar?\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

Courtney has woken up regretting how she invalidated Jolene\u2019s feelings, so she pops across the road to apologise.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe saying you can\u2019t feel a certain way is obviously really wrong, so I apologise for that,\u201d Courtney tells her.<\/p>\n

Jolene appreciates her owning the situation and officially closes the book on that issue.<\/p>\n

Speaking of books \u2026 Lisa\u2019s are cooked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey aren\u2019t loving The Block right now,\u201d Foreman Dan<\/a> says of House 3. \u201cIt\u2019s their own fault,\u201d he adds. Um, ouch.<\/p>\n

\"THe<\/p>\n

Savage.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

He says they haven\u2019t managed their books well enough, or pushed back on staggeringly high tradie bills.<\/p>\n

It leads Lisa to tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanna pay them and send them home,\u201d she sobs.<\/p>\n

While Lisa cries, Tayla dances.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s excited about her \u201cgame-changer\u201d this week, a SaltPod that brings a sauna, gym, spa bath and ice bath to their backyard in one luxe-looking pod.<\/p>\n

If they can get it to fit.<\/p>\n

Someone along the way measured it wrong, and now the pod is dangling in the air by a crane, too wide for the spot it\u2019s meant to go.<\/p>\n

It looks lovely up there.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

Next door, there\u2019s been an interesting new sign erected on Courtney and Sev\u2019s fence: their rooftop terrace council application.<\/p>\n

Adam spots it and quickly rallies his neighbours to join him in objecting.<\/p>\n

That night, it\u2019s finally Cheryoke time.<\/p>\n

The teams roll into a drive-in movie theatre along with Scott Cam<\/a>, Shelley Craft<\/a> and Block All Stars Eliza and Liberty for some rather questionable entertainment.<\/p>\n

Thanks to some deeply impressive backwards skating skills from Rick, he and Tayla are declared the winners and get a much-needed $10,000 budget boost.<\/p>\n

If a video of me singing was dubbed by AI and broadcast across the nation, I wouldn\u2019t emerge from my room for weeks. <\/p>\n

But incredibly, everyone has returned to site the next morning. Kudos to them.<\/p>\n

And kudos to Rick for making a bold call without Tayla \u2013 after he realises their SaltPod will block an important part of House 5\u2019s backyard view, he makes the executive decision to remove it.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s fine with it.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

After a quick walkarounds, production realises how strapped for cash everyone is and throws them a bone.<\/p>\n

Lisa and Rosco in particular are doing it tough. So tough they even tried offloading a sauna they can no longer afford to Scotty or Shell.<\/p>\n

Instead, it becomes part of the prize pool for our second challenge of the day: a cooking challenge from YouFoodz.<\/p>\n

Magically, after 45 minutes of cooking, the winners are \u2026 Lisa and Rosco! <\/p>\n

They win some cash and, uh, the sauna they already owned. Congrats!<\/p>\n

Nothing quite like winning something you already owned.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n
