Andy Lee<\/a> has given fans a glimpse inside his wedding to Rebecca Harding<\/a> on a new episode of the Hamish & Andy podcast<\/a>, which dropped \u201cless than 36 hours\u201d after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Lee, 45, confirmed the widely speculated New York nuptials in Thursday\u2019s episode, which also included voice notes from across the couple\u2019s big day on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT).<\/p>\n

The couple are yet to share any videos or photos from the wedding at a Manhattan rooftop hotel location. However, paparazzi shots captured Harding, 36, leaving a New York hotel in a strapless white dress \u2013 believed to be created by Australian designer Steven Khalil \u2013 with a sweeping train.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed the wedding featured around 80 guests, including Hollywood legend Hugh Jackman and aviation tycoon Paul O\u2019Brien.<\/p>\n

The stunning dress came up in the voice notes, when best man and co-star Hamish Blake<\/a> turned the microphone on the bride.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, we\u2019ve secured the bride for an interview, couldn\u2019t believe it,\u201d Blake said.<\/p>\n

“Mrs Lee, for the first time. How do you feel?”<\/p>\n

Harding said she was “fantastic” but when Lee asked if she had “any gripes with me as a husband so far”, the bride didn’t hold back.<\/p>\n

“Terrible at picking up the dress,” she replied.<\/p>\n

Lee said with a laugh that he \u201cknew there was one coming\u201d.<\/p>\n

The couple of 12 years finally said, \u201cI do\u201d, two years after getting engaged in 2024.\u00a0Instagram<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018just leave it\u2019. I was like, \u2018it is the streets of New York!\u2019,\u201d Harding elaborated.<\/p>\n

Blake agreed with the bride, saying: “Yeah, the retail value is shot, you’re not getting rid of that second-hand, are ya?”<\/p>\n

The podcast episode was recorded in advance as Lee and his co-hosts threw to themselves in the future, saying they\u2019d planned to record audio on the big day and splice it in.<\/p>\n

They played a montage of moments from the big day, including when the couple of 12 years finally said, \u201cI do\u201d, two years after getting engaged.<\/p>\n

\u201cAndy\u2019s vows and Bec\u2019s actually were very beautiful,\u201d co-host Jack Post said during a chat at the after-party.<\/p>\n

Lee swiftly replied: \u201cYou don\u2019t have to use the word \u2018actually\u2019, mate.\u201d <\/p>\n

The groom\u2019s long-time friend Michael \u201cHorgs\u201d Horgan MCed the event alongside Blake.<\/p>\n

The trio discussed it during one of the recorded chats before the ceremony.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I mean, in terms of my preferred double act, there is another man in the room I would prefer to do a double act with,\u201d Blake said with a laugh, referring to Lee.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s great, he\u2019s great, but I think Horgs is a little nervous because I\u2019ve just tried to keep the structure of it, I\u2019m like \u2018we don\u2019t have to script this, just cover off on this, cover off on this\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo Horgs goes, \u2018OK, so I\u2019ll get up, I\u2019ll start and \u2026 what do you reckon – just welcome or hello\u2019?<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018mate, I just think we\u2019re overthinking this\u2019, we\u2019ve had three meetings now for the \u2018hello, I\u2019m Michael\u2019 bit.\u201d <\/p>\n

The wedding MCs revealed guests would be forced to make an impromptu speech during the reception if their number came out of a gold bingo roller.<\/p>\n

Lee and Blake speculated both the bride and Blake\u2019s wife, Zo\u00eb Foster Blake, were going to be seething at the idea.<\/p>\n

For the Melbourne-based couple, New York has always held a special place in their hearts.\u00a0Instagram\/andytomlee<\/p>\n

But fans will have to wait until the next episode to hear how that went, as there were no updates provided.<\/p>\n

The morning after the wedding, the newlyweds were spotted outside of Lee\u2019s Old Mate\u2019s pub, where the reception took place. <\/p>\n

\u201cOh gosh it went deep,\u201d Lee told the Courier Mail when asked about the wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was probably 13 years in the making, people thought I took my time but that\u2019s proper due diligence isn\u2019t it and I\u2019m looking forward to a few lagers now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lee, Harding and the Blakes were all spotted in New York on Monday, fuelling rumours the wedding was impending.<\/p>\n

Jackman, who is an investor in the pub and a close mate of Lee, arrived shortly after and said the wedding was \u201cawesome\u201d. <\/p>\n

New York has always held a special place in the newlyweds\u2019 hearts.<\/p>\n
