Former Maine-Endwell basketball star Kaety\u00a0L\u2019Amoreaux held her third youth basketball camp Sunday at Bulldogs Sports Complex.<\/p>\n
The camp was open to basketball players in grades 1-8.\u00a0<\/p>\n
L’Amoreaux was a star in the Southern Tier at Maine-Endwell and she now plays NCAA Division I basketball for Fairfield University.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“I always loved going to camps when I was younger,” said L’Amoreaux. “I just think its such an important piece of playing sports and I always have a great time doing it and I love giving back to the community when I am home.”<\/p>\n
Players had a chance to take part in drills and play games during Sunday’s camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n
L’Amoreaux is entering her junior year at Fairfield. As a sophomore, she earned\u00a0All-MAAC Second Team honors while helping the Stags advance to the NCAA Tournament. Through two seasons at Fairfield, she is averaging 11.3 points per game while making 57 starts.<\/p>\n
