It replaces missing natural human growth hormone with somatropin, a man-made protein that is identical in structure to the hormone produced by the pituitary gland<\/p>\n<p>The brand faces stiff competition from domestic players, including Reliance Life Sciences, Sun Pharma and Cipla, with competing brands priced at up to Rs 5,000 per pack.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"40014509\" type=\"Denny\" weightage=\"20\" keywordseo=\"Novo-India\" source=\"keywords\" class=\"news-keywords\" href=\"https:\/\/pharma.economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tag\/novo+india\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Novo India<\/a> business is reeling from a wave of competing generics across key therapies, promoting a price-cutting spree to defend its foothold. Earlier this year, it slashed the prices of its weight-loss drug Wegovy following a patent cliff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Novo India, we are committed to deliver innovation and ensure that every child living with growth hormone deficiency has access to the therapy they need.
