{"id":931147,"date":"2026-10-17T06:18:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-17T06:18:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/931147\/"},"modified":"2026-10-17T06:18:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-17T06:18:09","slug":"central-notes-lambos-trudeau-salomonsson-pro-hockey-rumors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/931147\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Notes: Lambos, Trudeau, Salomonsson \u2013 Pro Hockey Rumors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"byline\">\n  By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prohockeyrumors.com\/author\/brianlarose\" title=\"Posts by Brian La Rose\" rel=\"author nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brian La Rose<\/a> |<br \/>\n  at October 16, 2026 9:00 pm  <\/p>\n<p>It was a short-lived promotion for Wild defenseman <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lamboca01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.prohockeyrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-10-16_hr\">Carson Lambos<\/a>.\u00a0 A day after being recalled, the team announced (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mnwildPR\/status\/2111125022987407392\" rel=\"nofollow\">Twitter link<\/a>) that they\u2019ve returned the blueliner to AHL Iowa.\u00a0 Lambos has just one career NHL appearance under his belt from last season.\u00a0 In six games with Iowa this season, the 2021 first-round pick has one goal and one assist after putting up 19 points in back-to-back years.\u00a0 His demotion might be a sign that one of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/maattol01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.prohockeyrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-10-16_hr\">Olli Maatta<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/spurgja01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.prohockeyrumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-10-16_hr\">Jared Spurgeon<\/a> will be good to return to the lineup from their respective upper-body injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the Central:<\/p>\n<p>The Blues have officially assigned prospect <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eliteprospects.com\/player\/293224\/felix-trudeau\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Felix Trudeau<\/a> to AHL Springfield, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/theahl.com\/stats\/transactions\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">per the AHL\u2019s transactions log<\/a>.
