after a brief stop, it’s wheels up at 11:10pm to land in London at 5:30am the next day.

As before, the QF10 return leg remains non-stop from London (departing at 11:30am) to Perth (arriving at 12:15pm the next day).

Qantas’ latest Sydney-Paris timetable

With the Perth-Paris route still on ice, the Sydney-Paris 787 will run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday as QF255.

It’ll soar out of Sydney at 4:10pm to land in Singapore at 9:30pm, then at 11:30pm the Dreamliner continues on its way to Paris for a 6:50am touchdown.

The QF34 return leg will be non-stop from Paris (departing at 10:20am) to Perth, and then continue to Sydney (arriving at 6:40pm the next day).

Expect crowded Qantas lounges at Singapore

Worth noting: the Perth-London, Sydney-Paris and Sydney-London QF1 flights are all scheduled to make their stopover at Singapore’s Changi Airport at the same time.

This is going to stretch the Qantas Business and Qantas First lounges to capacity during that 90-minute stopover window.

(While the Boeing 787s don’t have a first class cabin, they’ll still be carrying plenty of Platinum and Platinum One frequent flyers.)

Our suggestion: if you’re flying in business or first class, consider skipping the Qantas lounges and make a beeline to the Qatar Airways Premium Lounge.

Located at the top of the C gates wing – up the escalators and adjacent to the Emirates lounge – this often-overlooked lounge has an excellent à la carte menu (which you can view online here), complemented by a solid buffet and a full-service bar which makes great cocktails.

Note that the lounge’s open hours usually match Qatar Airways’ schedule, so the lounge may well be closed if the 7:40pm QR947 flight isn’t running.

In that case, it doesn’t hurt to check out the Emirates lounge, which is also available to Qantas Gold and Platinum-grade frequent flyers regardless of travel class.

The same goes for British Airways’ Singapore Lounge, which is next door to the Qantas Business Lounge and makes a good Plan B if the Qantas lounge is heaving.

Qantas will continue to avoid Middle East airspace on its former non-stop Perth-London and Perth-Paris flights until at…

[5
64,63,99,3861
post-933423","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-business","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-business","tag-qantas
["GET
