<\/p>\nUnderworld are heading back Down Under in 2027, bringing their celebrated live show to Australia and New Zealand for a run of headline dates and festival appearances.<\/p>\n
The British electronic pioneers, Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, will play three exclusive Australian headline shows in March, with each night featuring two special Underworld sets.<\/p>\n
Presented by Live Nation and Secret Sounds, the headline run kicks off at Brisbane\u2019s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday, March 2nd, before moving to Sydney\u2019s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday, March 3rd, and Melbourne\u2019s PICA on Saturday, March 6th.<\/p>\n
The duo will also make their way around the festival circuit, appearing at Christchurch\u2019s Electric Avenue on February 27th, WOMADelaide on March 5th, and Golden Plains in Meredith on March 7th.<\/p>\n
The announcement follows the New York premiere of \u2018Crazy, Crazy\u2019 in September, a two-set live experience that offers another way into Underworld\u2019s extensive catalogue.<\/p>\n
More than four decades into their career, Underworld remain one of electronic music\u2019s most enduring and influential acts. From the hypnotic experimentation of their landmark 1994 album\u00a0dubnobasswithmyheadman to the euphoric rush of \u201cBorn Slippy (nuxx)\u201d, which became a defining anthem of the \u201990s following its inclusion in Trainspotting, the duo have helped shape the sound of generations of dance floors.<\/p>\n
The past year has brought renewed attention to their work, including a viral Boiler Room debut that attracted more than one million views in its first five days, a series of album reissues, and continued collaborations with a new generation of electronic artists, including Brutalismus 3000, KETTAMA and KI\/KI.<\/p>\n

Artist and Mastercard pre-ales begin at 10am local time on Friday, October 23rd, followed by Live Nation and Secret Sounds pre-sales at 11am on Monday, October 26th. A Spotify pre-sale begins at 1pm that same day.<\/p>\n
