Police are hunting the driver of a white 4WD after a father was killed in a hit-and-run in Bibra Lake.<\/p>\n
Major crash investigators want to speak to the driver of the vehicle, which was seen in the area around the time of the fatal collision on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old cyclist, who was a father and a member of Perth\u2019s cycling community, was riding on North Lake Road, south of the Sobek Pass intersection, when he was hit by a vehicle about 5.20am.<\/p>\n
He died at the scene from his injuries.<\/p>\n
The vehicle involved remains unidentified and no arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
Family and friends of the cyclist laid floral tributes at the crash scene on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
The man\u2019s damaged bicycle remained visible on the roadway hours after the collision, as major crash investigators examined the scene.<\/p>\n
North Lake Road reopened on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
