The major toll provider for some of Australia\u2019s busiest roadways has shut down for maintenance, and won\u2019t be back online for another four days.<\/p>\n
Linkt, which manages toll payments across most of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane\u2019s arterial roadways, has shut down all of its online services, which won\u2019t be back online until 7am on Monday.<\/p>\n
Commuters travelling along major roadways like the WestConnex M4, the NorthConnex, the M5 South-West Motorway and the Eastern Distributor will not be able to pay instantly through their Linkt toll accounts as they travel.<\/p>\n
In Melbourne, Linkt manages tolls for the CityLink M2, the EastLink M3, the West Gate Tunnel and the CityLink M1.<\/p>\n
In Brisbane, the Gateway Motorway, the Logan Motorway, the Airportlink M7, Legacy Way, and the Toowoomba Bypass are all looked after by the company.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile our systems are offline, you won\u2019t be able to log into your account, manage vehicles, buy passes, or make payments online,\u201d a Linkt FAQ reads.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur roads remain open during the outage and you can travel as normal. Your tags and number plates will still be recorded on every trip, but your trips will be charged later.\u201d<\/p>\n
