AS Dick Johnson<\/a> Racing celebrates its last-lap victory in the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 and turns its eyes to this weekend\u2019s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, the latest issue of V8 Sleuth Magazine rewinds to tell the story of its last Bathurst-winning Falcon.<\/p>\n

The 1994 Tooheys 1000-winning Falcon EB \u2013 driven to victory by Dick Johnson and John Bowe<\/a> \u2013 is the cover car of Issue 6 and we unpack its racing history and eventual demise.<\/p>\n

Crashed at Phillip Island in 1996 by Bowe, the chassis was scrapped and we\u2019ve chatted with various DJR team members of the era as to the how and why.<\/p>\n

Not only was it a Bathurst-winning chassis, but the EB\/EF5 chassis was also a championship winner, raced by Bowe as an EF to the 1995 Australian Touring Car Championship crown.<\/p>\n
