MILWAUKEE — MLB Together is donating $25,000 to the Milwaukee Baseball Club as part of a World Series legacy initiative aimed at preserving youth baseball in Milwaukee.

The donation, made alongside the Milwaukee Brewers and the Brewers Community Foundation, will help the club add HitTrax technology to its facility, which is near American Family Field.

MLB Together, Major League Baseball’s community impact platform, makes a financial contribution to a local philanthropic effort as part of every World Series.

Kabel Scott, a high school junior who has been a Milwaukee Baseball Club member for the past year, said he is excited for the new technology.

“It’s a machine where you track your exit velocity off the bat, see how far the ball goes and the angle,” Scott said.

Scott said the system will give players more information about their progress during indoor practices.

“It really gives me a benchmark from week to week on how I’m improving,” Scott said. “Here, I can’t really see because of the nets how far the ball travels. Pretty much, I’ll be able to see it like if I’m outside.”

Milwaukee Baseball Club founder Julian Haliga started the organization more than a decade ago to help make baseball more accessible to low-income families and children of color.

The club works with MLB’s Nike RBI, or Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities, program to support access and inclusion in the sport.

Since 2025, the club has offered year-round batting cages for youth at its facility, along with athletic training areas and meeting space.

Haliga said HitTrax will make batting practice more engaging for young players.

“It’s hard to make batting practice fun to the point where the kids will want to come every single day,” Haliga said. “This tool is going to make them want to be here. They can change the park on the field, so they can play at White Sox stadium, at the Brewers stadium. They can play anywhere they were.”

Haliga said he is grateful to the Brewers Community Foundation for nominating the club for the donation.

“We try to build a community to help our kids not just in baseball but in life,” Haliga said.

At a check presentation ceremony Friday, Scott said the club has helped him both on and off the field.

“The Milwaukee Baseball Club has really given me so much as a person and a player,” Scott said. “It’s really given confidence at the plate which in turn has given me confidence as a person.”

MILWAUKEE — MLB Together is donating $25,000 to the Milwaukee Baseball Club as part of a World Series…

[558
58195,16738,64,63,591,44,504891,85,39,87249,12216
post-938576","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mlb","tag-app-sports","tag-app-top-stories","tag-au","tag-australia","tag-mlb","tag-news","tag-phillip-boudreaux","tag-sports","tag-top-stories","tag-vod","tag-wisconsin
["GET
