Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has explained why he\u2019s starting to feel a bit bad for Dana White as their rivalry continues.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s safe to say that Eddie Hearn and Dana White aren\u2019t the best of friends. Ever since White made it clear that he wanted to enter the boxing space, Hearn has been going after him in many ways \u2013 and eventually, after poking the bear enough, White bit back.<\/p>\n

Eddie Hearn obviously has a far greater pedigree in the sport than Dana does, but the latter\u2019s success in mixed martial arts with the UFC is nothing to shake your head at.<\/p>\n

Alas, after a string of notable setbacks, including the departure<\/a> of Shakur Stevenson from Zuffa Boxing, Eddie Hearn had the following to say about where Dana White currently stands.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI expected these guys to be better at what they do, but I didn\u2019t expect it to affect them so badly and for it to \u2013 like, you can see the physical breakdown, the mental and emotional breakdown of what is happening when he\u2019s up there,\u201d Hearn said. \u201cYou can see how he looks. You can see it\u2019s affecting him. This is a horrible, horrible business, and that\u2019s why I say I feel almost bad for those guys because I know what it\u2019s like. You have to become really battle-worn to it. I saw this thing on Steven Bartlett (where Dana said), \u2018I get up every day, f*ck everybody else, f*ck \u2013,\u2019 but you can\u2019t take any criticism. So, don\u2019t give it the big one, that you know, f*ck what people think.\u2019 Because look at your reaction when you see what people think.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re a control freak, and you can\u2019t take criticism, and when things don\u2019t go your way, you just tell people to f*ck off, and tell them they\u2019re an idiot. This game ain\u2019t like that. You got to be f*cking so tenacious and roll with it every single day. This (going up and down) is what you\u2019re rolling with in boxing. This (going in a straight line) is UFC, right? It\u2019s easy \u2013 and by the way, they\u2019ve made it easy. Amazing what they\u2019ve done. Boxing\u2019s not like that. We joke about the body of work, but let\u2019s be honest, what they\u2019ve done, they\u2019ve actually done the worst job I could have possibly expected from them. \u2026 I was expecting much more, and I was expecting a real fight, but I think they\u2019re done.\u201d<\/p>\n
