MLB Photos via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs always when we have an investigation, external law enforcement, whatever, we monitor that and that\u2019s where we are right now,\u201d Manfred told reporters. <\/p>\n<p>Walter has already sold several parts of his sports empire in light of the investigation. The business mogul sold the Lakers at a record $12.5 billion valuation as well as his stakes in Chelsea FC. <\/p>\n<p>The latest report states <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/10\/23\/sports\/dodgers-owner-mark-walter-looking-to-sell-sparks-after-lakers-fire-sale-report\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walter is also looking to sell his controlling interest in the Sparks at a record valuation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Major League Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred answers questions before the start of game one of the 2026 World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. MediaNews Group via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to make sure everyone understood one thing very clearly: The Dodgers are not being sold,\u201d Kasten told reporters. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re not gonna be sold. They\u2019re not for sale. There\u2019s no process that has been started to sell it, period,\u201d Kasten continued. \u201cWe are planning only to win. That is what we are always doing.
