Mario Kart<\/a> has probably tested more friendships than any other game. Everyone has a story about the blue shell that arrived in the last ten seconds, and the person who threw it is still not forgiven.<\/p>\n

So when Uniqlo announced its first-ever Mario Kart World UT Collection, <\/a>we were curious. Mario Kart World is the latest in the series for Nintendo Switch 2, and it takes the racing well beyond the usual tracks. You can drive off into a huge, interconnected world and take on cross-continental rallies. The T-shirts try to capture that feeling, with Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi and Donkey Kong all on the cast list.<\/p>\n

The designs<\/p>\n

The Men range has four designs. Some keep the front simple with one small accent, then save the fun for the back, with big character illustrations and in-game stickers. Another shows Mario travelling through that vast world, and one is a monochrome racing scene starring Mario, Luigi and Bowser. If you like your gaming merch to look like a normal, wearable T-shirt from the front, this is the one.<\/p>\n

The Kids range, also four designs, is louder. There\u2019s a race between Mario and Bowser, and Mario, Yoshi and Spike racing across the world map, with in-game items like Dash Food scattered around. Another design has Donkey Kong in the lead with Toad and Goomba on his tail. There\u2019s also a group shot of the whole cast, which is the most accurate depiction of any Mario Kart lobby.<\/p>\n

Uniqlo is pitching the collection at father-son duos and families, but a few things make it more useful than that.<\/p>\n

A few practical thingsThe men\u2019s range starts at XS, and sizes go up to 4XL. That makes it easy to borrow, or to buy as an oversized tee if that\u2019s your look.Some sizes are online only. That covers the kids\u2019 100, and men\u2019s XS, XXL, 3XL and 4XL, so if you\u2019re after one of those, order online.Prices are $24.90 for the men\u2019s tees and $19.90 for the kids\u2019 ones, tax included. Kids\u2019 sizes run 100 to 160cm.It\u2019s a T-shirt. It won\u2019t improve your lap times, and it won\u2019t stop anyone using a shell on you.When and where<\/p>\n
