The 2026 Batacular Mountain Bike Race took place early Sunday morning ahead of the Fall Festival, both of which are hosted and support the Nantucket Conservation Foundation.<\/p>\n
The bike race, which just completed its fourth annual event, features two different options: one loop or two loop. The single loop option is 8.4 miles, and the double loop option is 16.8 miles.<\/p>\n
Along the way, island residents who participate are able to experience the beauty of Nantucket’s open spaces while they ride through the NCF’s Middle Moors trails.<\/p>\n
The biker\u2019s participation supports NCF\u2019s work protecting Nantucket\u2019s natural resources through ecological research, public access to 9,000 acres of land, and environmental education.<\/p>\n
